A life of serving
the Texas Panhandle
Faith. Family. Texas Panhandle Values.
Meet Holly Jeffreys
Holly Jeffreys grew up in Amarillo and comes from a family of first responders and law enforcement: her brother is a DEA agent fighting drug cartels, and Holly is a nurse practitioner who volunteers as an EMT.
She opened rural clinics in communities that needed care: Panhandle, Boys Ranch, Bushland, and Claude, so families don't have to drive hours for healthcare. President Trump's SBA named Holly the Texas Panhandle Small Businessperson of the Year.
Holly served for nine years as President of the Bushland ISD School Board, protecting kids long before it was trendy. Under her leadership, Bushland earned an A+ for keeping inappropriate materials out of libraries and DEI and critical race theory out of classrooms.
Today Holly leads the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at West Texas A&M University, training much of the area's healthcare workforce. Governor Greg Abbott appointed Holly to his Healthcare Workforce Task Force, and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick selected her for his Health Care Advisory Board — because she gets results for the Panhandle.
Holly is a pastor's daughter who has attended Arden Road Baptist Church since she was five years old, leading youth choir and sponsoring Christian mission trips. She'll protect religious liberty and keep government from trampling on our faith and religious freedoms.
Holly is a hardworking, proven conservative who won't go to Austin chasing headlines. She'll roll up her sleeves and solve problems for HD 86.
Keep Panhandle Water in the Panhandle
Holly will fight to keep Panhandle water in the Panhandle — for our farmers, our ranchers, and our families — and away from Wall Street and hedge funds looking to drain the Panhandle dry.
Parents, Not Government, Should Decide How to Raise and Educate Their Children
Holly believes parents — not Austin bureaucrats — should decide how to raise and educate their children.
Eliminate School Property Taxes and Make Austin Fully Fund Our Schools
Holly will fight to eliminate school property taxes and immediately lower the property tax freeze age from 65 to 55, saving Panhandle homeowners thousands and ending the appraisal game for families 55 and older.
Stand with President Trump and Governor Abbott to Secure the Border
Holly sees the border crisis every day — the strain on rural clinics and hospitals and drugs flowing into our communities. She will support President Trump and Governor Abbott’s mission to secure the border and put Texas citizens first.
Fight for Law Enforcement and First Responders
Holly comes from a family of first responders and is endorsed by multiple Panhandle sheriffs, the Amarillo Police Officers Association, and CLEAT. As State Representative, she’ll give them the resources they need to keep our families safe.
Protect Agriculture and Rural Industries
Holly will stand with our farmers and ranchers against regulations that threaten the industries that built the Panhandle.
Make Healthcare Affordable and Accessible
Holly built healthcare clinics from the ground up so Panhandle families don’t have to drive hours for care. She’ll fight to lower costs and expand access in rural Texas.
Protect Life from Conception to Natural Death
Fight One-Size-Fits-All Mandates That Ignore Rural Texas
Holly will push back on unfunded mandates from Washington and Austin that are written for big cities and ignore rural communities like ours.

Real Conservative Texas Pandhandle Values
Rural Clinics & Community Care
Holly built clinics in Panhandle, Boys Ranch, Bushland, and Claude, bringing dependable care to communities that had gone without it for years. She also created a coffee shop in Bushland to meet local needs.
Holly's Record of Service
A lifetime of building solutions.
University Leadership
As dean of WTAMU’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences, she guides more than 50 faculty members and helps prepare the region’s healthcare workforce with hands-on training across rural communities.
Panhandle Roots, Statewide Relationships
Governor Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Patrick both selected Holly to serve on Task Forces and Advisory Boards to help deal with healthcare costs and workforce challenges, and President Trump's SBA named Holly Panhandle Small Businessperson of the Year.
